Cynthia Chu is a Chinese-American animator and illustrator from New York City. She received her BFA in Film and Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology and is currently based in Brooklyn.
Cynthia often works on painterly, cel animated projects heavily inspired by mood and color. She has worked as a freelance artist, creating background art, color scripts, and cel animation. She enjoys working on projects related to the advocacy of social good.
She draws inspiration from dreams, memories, music, and nature. Cynthia's looking for opportunities to work on stage design and large-scale installations.
